that it shall not let coporation seal CMC Hospital and should render it free from its property tax by their intervention , as the news printed in danik savera of sealing CMC&H, if unable to pay property tax in 20 days has really hurt the feelings of our community and filled our hearts with sorrow As inspite of being a minority CMC&H is serving the humanity since 120 years and has been working for the welfare of patients providing them with best facilities .
. The good works of the hospital should not be neglected , as even in times of hardships such as terrorism , khud mohalla fire incident , the dangerous khanna rail accident

1995 a very dangerous fire incidence occurred in dabwali the hospital has worked for the welfare of society, and a number of mobile healthcare services are provided by the hospital .
Hospital has worked indiscriminately for the society providing treatment to all religion .Even the doctors , nurses graduated from CMC & Hopsital are working worldwide to provide medical services , and are making ludhiana, punjab and whole india proud.
General
secretary Mr.Amrian gill said that The year 1947 was truly a year of crisis. Partition of Punjab brought
90,000 Muslims from Ludhiana and the entrance of 1,50,000 Hindus and Sikhs. In
the resulting riots, mission hospitals were flooded with casualties. The then
Principal, Dr. Aileen M. Pollock, of Ludhiana’s Christian Medical College
overnight made the hospital open for men as well as for women and children
providing immediate medical relief. The efficacy of the mission hospitals could
be witnessed in the coming years. KAISER-I-HIND, Mary edith brown , provided
whole of north india with medical services.
MR. Noble
J Bedi added that The Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH), sent a
10-member medical and surgical team to quake-hit areas in Jammu and Kashmir.
The team was Dr Mark Fitzgerald, President, Australian Trauma Society and
Director of the Emergency and Trauma Centre in Melbourne, Australia.

of the federation said that works done by the missionary all over india cannot
be forgot . Initially, women were sent
as escorts with men . Later, they acquired a new role as social workers . Dr.
Rose Greenfield, she strongly felt the need to train the Indian women who would
take care of the women patients.

vice president asked the Ludhiana corporation
, Is this the prize CMC&H is getting for their 120 years of selfless work
without any discrimination on the basis of religion that corporation is going
to seal the hospital for not paying the tax ,also added if Christian community
knows how to help we also know how to protect our prestigious institution
CMC&H. on the behalf of whole Christian community we demand from Punjab government
to take the notice from Ludhiana corporation back of sealing it.
