ਸੀਐਮਸੀਐਚ ਦੇ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਸਰਜਨ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਐਮਪੂਟੇਡ ਅੰਗੂਠਾ ਦੀ ਸਫਲਤਾਪੂਰਵਕ ਮੁੜ ਸਥਾਪਤੀ

ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਦੇ ਤੌਰ ਤੇ ਸੀ.ਐੱਮ.ਸੀ. ਹਸਪਤਾਲ, ਲੁਧਿਆਨਾ

 ਵਿੱਚ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਹੇ ਡਾ ਪਿੰਕੀ ਪਰਗਲ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਟੀਮ ਨੇ ਲੂਧਿਆਨਾ ਦੇ 29 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਮਰਦ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੋ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਖੱਬੇ ਅੰਗੂਠੇ ਦੇ ਕੁੱਲ ਕੱਟਣ ਅਤੇ ਕਈ ਹੋਰ ਤੇਜ਼ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗਣ ਦਾ ਕੇਸ ਸੀ।

ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਦੁਆਰਾ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਤੁਰੰਤ ਡਿਜੀਟਲ ਰੀ-ਇਮਪਲਾਂਟ ਪ੍ਰਕਿਰਿਆ ਲਈ ਲਿਜਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ.

ਉਸ ਦੇ ਅੰਗੂਠੇ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਛੇ ਘੰਟੇ ਚੱਲੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ. ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਲਗਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਵਿਧੀ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਉਸਦਾ ਅੰਗੂਠਾ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਨਾੜੀ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਚੰਗੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੰਮ ਕਰ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ, ਪਲਾਸਟਿਕ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਦਾਖਲ ਹੋਇਆ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ 2-3 ਦਿਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਡਿਸਚਾਰਜ ਦੀ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਈ ਗਈ ਹੈ.

ਜਿਕਰਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਬਹੁਤ ਘੱਟ ਸੰਸਥਾਵਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਸਥਿਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਇਲਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸਮਰੱਥਾ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ.

ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਡਾਕਟਰ ਨੇ ਸੰਤੁਸ਼ਟੀ ਜ਼ਾਹਰ ਕੀਤੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੁਕਰਾਨਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਫੰਕਸ਼ਨ ਨੂੰ ਬਹਾਲ ਕਰਨ ਦੇ ਯੋਗ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਅਪਾਹਜ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ ਰੋਕਦੀ ਸੀ। ਉਸਨੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸੀਐਮਸੀ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਅਜਿਹੀਆਂ ਮਾਈਕ੍ਰੋਵੈਸਕੁਲਰ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਦਾ ਮੋਹਰੀ ਹੈ।

ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਕੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾਇਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ, ਬਸ਼ਰਤੇ ਕੱਟੇ ਹੋਏ ਅੰਗਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਸਹੀ ਸਥਿਤੀ ਵਿਚ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਜਾਏ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਨਹਿਰੀ ਅਵਧੀ ਦੇ 6 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ.

ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਸਰਜਰੀ ਵਿਚ ਸਹਾਇਤਾ ਕੀਤੀ ਉਹ ਸਨ: ਡਾ. ਜੈਦੀਦੀਆ..ਦ੍ਰਾਣਕੁਰ ਧਰਮ, ਡਾ. ਜਾਰਜ, ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬੰਨੂ ਰਾਮ .ਐਨਸਟੈਸਟਿਸਟ ਟੀਮ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਡਾ. ਆਰਤੀ ਨੇ ਕੀਤੀ.

Successful Re-implantation of the Amputated Thumb By Plastic Surgeon of CMCH

A team led by Dr Pinki Pargal working in CMC hospital ,ludhiana as Professor plastic surgery treated a patient aged 29 year male from ludhiana who was a case of assault  leading to the total amputation of his left thumb and multiple other sharp injuries .

The patient was immediately taken up for digital re-implant procedure by the treating doctor.

His thumb was reimplanted after surgery lasting six hours.After the procedure of re-implant was done,his thumb was well vascularised and the patient is doing well ,admitted in plastic surgery and planned for discharge within 2-3 days

It is pertinent to mention that very few institutions have the capability to treat such conditions.

The treating doctor expressed satisfaction & thankful to God that she was able to restore his hand function & prevented patient from going disable.She further said that CMC hospital is a pioneer of such microvascular surgeries.

Awareness needs to be spread among public that amputated limbs can be salvaged, provided amputated parts are brought in proper condition & within 6 hours of golden period.
