The city witnessed a supporter of Anna, Shri Surat Singh Khalsa who defied his age of 78-years and undertook a fast-till-death outside mini secretariat and made police agree on his terms before going to hospital. Shri Satpal Gosain, Cabinet Minister of Health & Family Welfare (Punjab) himself made a visit to him and appreciated his efforts and appealed youth to come forward to join the battle against corruption.
Mr. Gosain also addressed the youth and enlightened them on the sorry state of our country and made them acquaint with the fact that country’s 400 lakh crores of black money is lying in the Swiss banks. Shri Gosain appealed youngsters to raise their voice against the devil of corruption and help make India, the golden sparrow as it is used to be
