ਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਸਾਹਿਬਜ਼ਾਦਾ ਅਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਗਰ ਵਿਖੇ ਇਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਨੌਜਵਾਨ ਦੀ ਜਨਤਕ ਤੌਰ 'ਤੇ ਪੱਗ ਉਤਾਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ 2 ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਇਕ ਫਿਰਕੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ: ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਕੋਲ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਵਿਭਾਗ ਦਾ ਵੀ ਚਾਰਜ ਹੈ, ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਦੇ ਵਧੀਕ ਡਿਪਟੀ ਕਮਿਸ਼ਨਰ ਸ: ਐਮ. ਐ¤ਸ. ਕੈਂਥ ਆਈ. ਏ. ਐਸ. ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ 'ਤੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਲਿਆ। ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਸ: ਤਨਵੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬੈਂਸ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਰਾਜ ਦੇ ਗ੍ਰਹਿ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਉਕਤ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਥਿਤ ਘਟਨਾ ਸਬੰਧੀ ਵੀਡੀਓ ਦੀ ਛਾਣਬੀਣ ਕਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਉ¤ਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਫੌਜਦਾਰੀ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਿਫਾਰਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਵਰਨਣਯੋਗ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਉਕਤ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਿੰਘ ਐ¤ਸ. ਪੀ. ਮੁਹਾਲੀ ਅਤੇ ਕੁਲਭੂਸ਼ਣ ਸ਼ਰਮਾ ਐਸ.ਐਚ.ਓ. ਨੂੰ ਉਕਤ ਘਟਨਾ ਤੋਂ 2 ਦਿਨ ਬਾਅਦ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਮੁਅੱਤਲ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਫੈਸਲਾ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ। ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅੱਜ ਲਏ ਗਏ ਫੈਸਲੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਉਕਤ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਧਾਰਾ 295-ਏ ਅਧੀਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕੇਸ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ, ਜੋ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਭਾਵਨਾਵਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਠੇਸ ਪਹੁੰਚਾਉਣ ਦੇ ਦੋਸ਼ ਹੇਠ ਬਣਦੀ ਹੈ। ਉਪ ਮੁੱਖ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਸ: ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਨੇ ਅੱਜ ਰਾਤ ਇਥੋਂ ਜਾਰੀ ਇਕ ਬਿਆਨ ਵਿਚ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਰਾਜ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਫਿਰਕੇ ਦੇ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਚਿੰਨ੍ਹ ਦੀ ਬੇਹੁਰਮਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਬਰਦਾਸ਼ਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤਾ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ। ਇਹ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਅੱਜ ਅਕਾਲੀ ਦਲ ਦੀ ਰਾਜਸੀ ਮਾਮਲਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੀ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਵੀ ਉਠਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਸ ਹਰਕਤ ਦੀ ਤਿੱਖੀ ਨੁਕਤਾਚੀਨੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ। ਸ: ਸੁਖਬੀਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਾਦਲ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਇਸੇ ਮੀਟਿੰਗ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਦੋਨਾਂ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ
ReplyDeleteTwo days after the orders of deputy chief minister Sukhbir Singh Badal, a case has been finally registered against SP Pritam Singh and SHO Kulbhushan Kumar Sharma for desecrating the turban of a Sikh protester Jagjit Singh. The deputy CM, who also holds the home portfolio, had ordered to register a case on Monday. The cops were earlier suspended and a magisterial enquiry was ordered which indicted the cops. The enquiry conducted by ADC Mohinder Singh Kainth was submitted to Principal Secretary (Home) DS Bains who had recommended stern action against the two cops. The case has been registered under section 295-A, IPC (causing hurt to religious sentiments) in Police Station Phase-8, Mohali, on the statement of Jagjit Singh, a resident of Verka in Amritsar. Jagjit Singh, a rural pharmacist was protesting for the demands of the pharmacists outside Cricket Stadium at Mohali when he was held and his turban was taken off by Sharma in full public view. SAS Nagar SSP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar told that the government has taken a serious view of the incident which happened on 28th of March. The case has been registered exactly nine days after the incident. Sikh groups are demanding the arrest and dismissal of both the cops.
